Motorcycle wrecks and injuries

Motorcycle accidents usually result in serious injuries, if not fatalities, for motorcyclists.  This, of course, is a consequence of the exposed nature of the rider and the absence of any outward protection offered by the vehicle.  Cyclists are often unnecessarily victimized due to the size disparity between their motorcycles and the other vehicles on the roadway.  Harm can come to a rider when the driver of a car fails to honor the rules of the roadway (such as running a red light).  However, injuries can be caused in other subtle ways by automobile operators.  For instance, an automobile driver who fails to appreciate the presence of a motorcyclist in the vicinity of the car (due to a motorcycle’s relative size) can cause catastrophic injuries with a minor sideswipe.  Vehicles are not the only mechanism for motorcycle-induced injuries though.  Sometimes road conditions (which are otherwise safe for travel by automobiles) can present hazards unique to motorcyclists.

Because motorcycles are exceptional vehicles, the legal representation provided in these types of wrecks must be commensurate.  The Dow Firm, P.C. has handled motorcycle accident cases with great success in the past, providing injured cyclists with the specialized legal care they require under their special accident circumstances.
